The Barnes group was founded by Heidi Barnes and Thibault de Saint Vincent.
Its root date back to 1994, when Heidi Barnes created a real estate company in London for foreign clients wishing to relocate to England’s capital city.
The company’s success made its founder to open an office in Paris in 1995 and Barnes soon became a leading name in the business.

After working for over 15 years at the head of residential real estate companies in France and the United States, Thibault de Saint Vincent came to the realization in early 2000 that the luxury real estate market was going global. For these reasons, in 2003, Thibault de Saint Vincent became” Real estate broker” (licensed estate agent in the state of Florida) opened the first Barnes office in Miami.
Barnes Miami becomes in a few years the reference for the French population in Florida.

In 2004, putting together the Anglo Saxon idea of service of Heidi Barnes and the entrepreneurship of Thibault de St Vincent, the Barnes group is launched. After London and Miami, a new office is opened in the heart of the richest city in France, located at 22 rue de d’hôtel de Ville in Neuilly-sur-Seine.
This international company needs fairly quickly a managing team and its associate Mr Richard Tzipine is appointed Managing Director on the 1st of January 2006. His experience as sales Director of the world leading media group allows him to propel the Parisian offices amongst the top leaders within the luxury property market in the French capital.

From 2006 to 2010, Barnes carries on its development:

Opening of two new offices in Paris
Left bank – 13 rue Bonaparte – 75006 Paris
Right bank - 18 rue des belles Feuilles – 75116 Paris
Opening of five regional offices (Cannes, Aix en Provence, Saint Remy de Provence, Biarritz and Deauville)
Creation of two dedicated teams for” Exceptional properties” and “Blocks of flats”
Creation of a “Castles and Estates” team
Opening of two new foreign offices in Geneva and NYC
Creation of a network of foreign correspondents (Asia, Russia, middle-east...)
